People over estimated being on your own for the first time. “Its going to be so hard.” “Your bills are going pile up quicker than you know.” I work at McDonalds. 36 hours a week. I pay rent, electricity, cable/internet, and cell phone every month. On top of that, I also pay for groceries and every day house hold necessities. So how is it that I can make less than $1000/month, yet some people who make 2-4 times what I do cant pay their bills? Responsibility. I could get behind on bills and have the best social life. Or I could stay home, pay all of my bills, and have the satisfaction of not stressing about getting behind. Its not hard to make it in this world if you’re dedicated and willing.
